Cooling & Fans
If you install a CPU with a TDP over 150W you will need the High-Performance Heat Sink (HPR HSK) if it's 150 or less then the standard heat sink will be installed. All GPU’s need a high-performance heat sink and Fans. Depending on the wattage used by the GPU you will either need 4 or 7 fans installed. You can find more information in the tech manual under the “Thermal Restrictions”
Memory
With a Max of 8 DIMMs per processor and a total of 16 DIMMs per system. Supporting up to 1TB of 4800Mhz DDR5 ECC RDIMM Memory. Keep in mind there is no mixing of DIMMs and a minimum of 1 DIMM must be populated for each installed processor.

Storage Controllers
The T560 Tower Server supports PERC 11 / 12 Storage Controllers. The main configuration for this system is to utilize the fPERC for raid so it frees up a PCIe slot for either a GPU or for expanding the networking ability of the server.
The 3.5" and 2.5" backplanes have different spots for the fPERCs. The 3.5" fPERC is on the front of the chassis in a dedicated slot. The 2.5" fPERC sits on the rear of the backplane. For more information about installing the fPERC Storage Controllers, please read the manuals below.
